LEAD-VT Participants Learn More and Win Campaigns:

Several participants ran and won their campaigns last year. Take it from some of our previous trainees:

I went to a workshop to become better support for a candidate I hoped would run. Instead, I committed to running myself,” said Rep. Charen Fegard, D-Berkshire (Franklin-5).

“The training offered skills for all types of leaders and allowed me to re-imagine who I am going to be in the community and the changes we can make when we build power together,” said Brenda Siegel, who ran for the Democratic nomination for governor.

“If you’re thinking about running for any office, a LEAD training should be your first step,” said Brenda Patoine.

The Details:

The suggested training fee is $50 per day, which includes coffee, snacks, and lunch. Scholarships are available so no one will be turned away from lack of funds. Each training session lasts from 9 AM to 4 PM.
