Rights and Democracy is gearing up for our Annual Membership Assembly, and we want you to be part of it! Please join us this Thursday, December 12th at 7:00 PM, via Zoom.
This annual event is a celebration of our collective impact and a valuable opportunity for our bistate community to come together.
Here’s what makes this event special:
Reflecting on Our Achievements
The past year has been one of regrounding in our roots and we’re excited to share the meaningful progress we’ve made together. From grassroots organizing to policy advocacy, RAD members have been at the forefront of advancing people-powered change in Vermont and New Hampshire. The Assembly is a chance to learn about our work in both states this year and get a sense of what’s coming up in 2025.
Shaping Leadership
Democracy is about participation, and our Board of Directors election embodies this principle. At the Assembly, Members will elect new board members who will help guide our organization’s strategic direction in 2025.
Fiscal Transparency
We use this annual event as an opportunity to practice what we preach and share with our members information on our revenue and expenses for the year.
Celebrate Community
We are honored to have RAD member Ala Khaki joining us this year to share some of his poetry with us!
