Our Federal Resistance Team is made up of a dedicated group of RAD volunteers that are heading the coordination and program building related to ongoing actions throughout Vermont. We work together to build community, educate one another, and take action in the context of ongoing threats to democracy and our freedoms from the federal administration.

SIGN UPFederal Resistance: Actions You Can Take Now
Resistance doesn’t happen all at once, it is a sustained and ongoing effort for us all! You don’t have to do all things at all times, that can be overwhelming. We recommend you choose ONE thing to do each week, and add more if/when you are ready.
Together we create change!
Take Care of Each Other
- Pace yourself. There is no magic formula for this – you need to figure out what works for you, be mindful of your limits to avoid burnout. Balance your activism with wellness.
- Build community, check in with your neighbors, share quality time with your beloveds. Embrace joy as a form of resistance.
- Action: Remind the people you love you will be there and show up for them, especially those who feel most threatened right now.
ACTIVATING YOUR PEOPLE
- Host a house party with your friends to discuss what’s going on and support each other
- Outreach, make a list of people you will talk to, write down what you want to tell them about this meeting, and make a plan for when you’re going to talk to them
- Share calls to action, meetings, and protests with your friends and family, and ask that they do the same with their own networks
